The museum is closed until October 17 due to the setup of a new exhibition

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will be closed until March 17, 2024, when the exhibition “Continuities and Disruptions – Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Salon 54 and a Decade of the Salon in Rijeka” opens. This retrospective exhibition is dedicated to the Rijeka Salons (1954–1963), contributing to their research and contextualization, aiming to more significantly inscribe this biennial event, which had several editions during the 1950s and early 1960s, into narratives that extend beyond the local setting.
